BIC Brand Name Transitions in 2022

The Bic® Brand will be used less in 2022

Executive Advertising offers the very best in promotional products from BIC®, and the BIC® brand is generally provided to us by Koozie Group. Due to licensing changes from the two companies, the BIC brand will no longer be used on most of the products that we offer that have been branded with the BIC® Logo for decades.

While the name has changed, the production facilities will remain the same. These are the same great products just without the BIC Brand! While some of the BIC® products will have no name or brand change, others may cause some confusion with Executive Advertising customers. The products themselves are not changing, just the BIC branding to many products, so we have updated the product names and brand names of each of the affected BIC® products to the new line names which are: Souvenir®, Good Value, and the Classic Collection which will be independently branded as WideBody®, Pivo®, and Tri-Stic®.

Brand Names that are unaffected are: BIC® Clic Stic®, BIC® Round Stic®, BIC® Intensity® Clic™ Gel Pen, BIC® Brite Liner Grip™, BIC® Grip Roller, and BIC® Media Clic®

For Customers that are Reordering

If you place a “Reorder” for one of the transitioned BIC® products, the only difference should be the name of the product that you are reordering. You will be able to click the “Reorder" button in your previous orders page and you will receive the correct product that you ordered previously. Same decoration methods, imprint areas, quality, etc. 

Statement from Koozie Group, the supplier for the BIC branded promotional products:

Back in October, we let you know that as a stand-alone organization Koozie Group now has a partnership with the BIC® brand, similar to our partnerships with retail brands like Tervis® and Titleist®.

As a reminder, we will continue to be the exclusive supplier to the promotional products industry of 35 BIC®-branded writing instruments – we’re keepin’ the BIC® brand in Koozie Group! They include these bestsellers:

• BIC® Clic Stic® family
• BIC® Round Stic® family
• BIC® Intensity® Clic™ Gel Pen
• BIC® Brite Liner Grip™ family
• BIC® Grip Roller family
• BIC® Media Clic® family and more

The following products have transitioned to their new brands and will no longer be available under the BIC® brand.

• Expanded Souvenir® Line
  These writing instruments are now branded under our Souvenir® line:
  • Anthem
  • Image
  • Emblem
  • Worthington
  • Verse
  • Rize
  • Avenue and more
• Additionally, our Sticky Note™ adhesive notepads have become part of our Souvenir® line of stationery items, manufactured in the USA by the print experts at our Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, facility. Not only do they have  upgraded adhesive – they are now Forest Stewardship Council®-certified products.

• Introduced the Classic Collection
  • We continue to manufacture the Clic™, WideBody®, Pivo®, and Tri-Stic® families as part of our new Classic Collection.
• Expanded Good Value® Line
  • Our magnets and mouse pads are now Good Value® branded.

Please remember, there are absolutely no changes to the quality of materials, processes, or imprints that we use to create these promotional favorites. As always, we’re here for you!
