A Delivery Date or you may hear the term "In-Hands Delivery Date" or just "In-Hands Date" is the absolute last day that your customized products can be delivered by. For example if your Trade Show is on Saturday May 23rd, then your in-hands date should be Friday May 22th.
Selecting a Delivery Date
We at Executive Advertising take your delivery dates pretty seriously. During the checkout process you need your order by a particular date or not. What we are asking here is if there is an event date or or day that you absolutely need your order delivered by, and we recommend that day to be one day before you actually need the products in case the order is delivered later in the day.
Delivery Dates Options
Estimated By - means that if you approved your proof the next business day, this is the estimated date that you receive your order.
I Need My Order Delivered By - You want to put in the last possible day that you can receive these products to meet your event date.
What factors can delay my order?
Not approving your artwork eproof on time
Change in shipping addresses
Change in decoration methods
Decorating more locations
Major Increase in your order quantity.
Extended production times during peak seasons
Should I put in a delivery date if I don't need one?
It doesn't hurt to give us a requested delivery date, however we recommend that if you have the extra time let us know the last possible day that you can receive your order in case your order takes extra time in proofing or production. We'll always try to ship it out early.
Should I Really Tell You the Absolute Last Date? Or Add in Delivery Buffer Room?
YES. Tell us your last possible date to receive your products, especially if it's a rush order. We will ship your promotional products as soon as they are ready to be received by you, but there is no reason for the added cost of a rush order or expedite shipping if there is no particular delivery date needed. You can also review our standard production times for more information. If we commit to your promotional products being delivered on your in-hands dates, that's the day they will be delivered, we do not guarantee our in-hands delivery date even though we make 99% of our delivery in-hands dates.
Can I get a Faster Production Time?
Under the "Shipping Details" Section on the product page or cart product details, if a rush is production is available for your product and the decoration options that you have selected, you'll see the rush options there. (you may need to click "show more")
Each product has different qualifications for a production rush, typically if you are getting multiple locations or adding additional colors your order will not qualify for a rush production. But again if varies per product.
Can I get a Faster Shipping Time?
Expedited shipping is available under the "Shipping Method" question on the product or cart page. Expediting can get expensive, so remember that we have factories all of the United States, so we may have a similar product closer to you. Contact us if you need help.
Is My Delivery Date Guaranteed?
No. We do not guarantee our delivery dates, however we always to do everything in our power to meet our delivery dates if you request one.
Can you Deliver to my Trade Show Hotel?
Often our customers may be traveling to a hotel for their trade show and we will ship your promotional items to the hotel so that you don't have to travel with 500 tote bags and 2,000 pens. This is often done, please just specify your request in your order notes. We strongly recommend contacting the hotel to make sure that they can accept the packages on your behalf and that they will hold your products for you.
